Perfect White Bread from a Breadmaker
Ingredients
225ml of warm water
1teaspoon of easy bake yeast
2 table spoons of sugar
400g Strong white bread flower
1 teaspoon of salt
4 table spoons of olive oil
Method
Add the water, sugar and yeast to the pan of the breadmaker and leave for ten to fifteen minutes.
Then add the sieved flour, salt and olive oil.
Then either:
set the breadmaker to basic white and let it do its thing, when it’s done you’ll have a loaf of tasty bread.
or set it to dough and wait for it to finish. When it has finished begin preheating the oven to 50°C, remove the dough from the pan and gently knead the bread before shaping to your taste. Once the oven is up to temperature turn it off and place your shaped dough into the oven then turn the oven off. Leave for 30-45 minutes, the dough should roughly double in size. Turn the oven up to 160°C and bake for 25-30 minutes turning it around about half way through. Then you will have incredibly tasty white bread.
